The six-semester degree program “Bachelor of Arts in Literature-Art-Media” is provided by the University of Konstanz with a total length of six semesters. The program provides to the participants the competence to read and analyse all kinds of cultural products by using scientific approaches relevant to literature, art and media. The focus primarily falls on the scientific analytical approach to literary texts, works of fine art and diverse media such as film, TV, internet, photography, games as well as the different forms of cultural production. Graduates obtain comprehension in the techniques of scientific work with cultural artifacts and different origins for instance texts, images, three-dimensional objects in traditional and contemporary media along with introduction to independent literary work in text interpretation, commentary, historical and socio-cultural contextualization in a higher methodological and conceptual level.
