The four-semester degree program “Master of Arts in Literature-Art-Media” is provided by the University of Konstanz. The master degree focuses on the cultural, technical and aesthetic characteristics of different media and how they manifest themselves in different forms of social communication. The prospective students obtain comprehension in media practices affecting the handling of images, photographs, films, maps or diagrams, narratives and documentation, the collecting of objects or data and more. During the course, participants are able to select an area of focus such as art or the media or an interdisciplinary focus with an interface between literature and art or literature and media. “Master of Arts in Literature Art Media” teaches how to analytically record and classify communicative situations, to research options and use them effectively in order to provide to the prospectiv studets the comprehension how to succesffuly translate literary, art, media and general cultural studies issues into practical media concepts along with strong knowledge and methods of project management.
