Provided by the University of Konstanz, the degree course “Master of Science in Mathematics” is with a total length of four semesters. The main focus of the course is to provide to the participants the necessary mathematical theories and methods comprehension with the ability to recognize analogies and basic patterns as well as to recognize, formulate and solve complex problems while practicing their conceptual, analytical and logical thinking. Graduates will be able to apply mathematical methods and models and develop them further independently for scientific work, problem analysis solution and also for the organization of work. During the course, the students are able to understand selected, advanced topics including terms, statements and methods from the field of partial differential equations, the peculiarities of individual types and are able to use methods of functional analysis while obtaining basic knowledge of partial differential equations and functional analysis and numeric of partial differential equations.
