Provided by the University of Konstanz, the six-semester “Bachelor of Arts in Motor Neurorehabilitation” requires completed vocational training as a physiotherapist or ergotherapist. The program covers the whole spectrum of modern motoric neurorehabilitation and provides basic understanding of neurological disease patterns as well as the societal and institutional framework conditions of rehabilitation in the health system. During the course, students learn how to use current findings from various disciplines and to optimise them for the specific patient while obtaining an overview of the current state of research on motor learning with both biomechanical basics and laws of sporting movement sequences, motor control and regulation processes.
