The interdisciplinary study program “Bachelor of Science in Nanoscience” is provided by the University of Konstanz with a total length of six semesters. By combining chemistry and physics in order to research and develop molecular materials, the prospective students acquire strong high-quality scientific education with solid specialist foundations and particular competence in the field of molecular material sciences. During the course, the graduates study fundamentals of the chemistry of metals, the structure, solvents and ecological aspects, characteristics, reactions of metals and their compounds, basics of transition metal chemistry, the electronic structure and chemical bond. The program also covers the chemical operations, analyzes according to regulations, observation and documentation as well as areas of chemistry, physico-chemical relationships and the development of broad expertise in the field of materials chemistry.
