Offered by the University of Konstanz, the study course “Bachelor of Education in Russian (Secondary Education)” is with a duration of six semesters. By exploring genre poetics, scientific working techniques and literary theories the primary aim of the degree program is to convey scientific terminology literary texts from features of poetry, epic and drama as well as the terms used for their analysis. The prospective students obtain strong, in-depth, structured and connectable specialist knowledge in linguistics and learn to both identify and develop main and current issues as well as methods while becoming able to explain central phenomena of language change with current characteristics of the Russian language in order to describe important aspects of multilingualism in the language learning process.
