Provided by the University of Konstanz, the course “Bachelor of Arts in Slavic Literatures” is with a duration of six semesters. Throughout the program the students will be taught the necessary methods to academically approach literary and non-literary texts while focusing on Russian literature and covering literature and languages of the eastern and south-eastern European peoples such as Polish, Czech and south-Slavic literatures. Graduates successfully learn how to analyse and reflect critically on literature, speak and write with authority while the linguistic modules deal with the structure and history of Slavic languages. During the practical courses the prospective students are able to improve their own skills in Russian and another Slavic language.
