Offered by the University of Konstanz, the study program “Master of Arts in Sociology” is with a total length of four semesters. The degree program covers important topics such as migration and social integration, gender inequalities in organisations and labour markets, education, organisation and the economy, culture, social networks and more. By including modules with anthropology, the course also focuses on teaching the students how to apply methodical tools in order to become able to successfully collect and analyse empirical material. The prospective students explore both sociological and ethnological topics from different theoretical and methodological perspectives and acquire skills necessary for the sociological analysis of contemporary societies in specific areas for instance the field of religion, politics, economics, migration and more.
