Offered by the University of Konstanz “Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Ibero-American Studies” is a study program with a duration of six semesters that focuses on the academic analysis of literature written in Spanish as well as Ibero-America. During their study, participants will be introduced to various methodologies such as literary theory, literary history as well as cultural studies, cultural theory and learn how to analyse as well as to critically reflect on literature. The modules explore the core areas phonology, morphology, syntax and semantics, language acquisition, the Spanish varieties and more. The practical courses enable students to improve their Spanish language skills while also obtaining comprehension in regional, cultural studies, oral and written language skills, listening comprehension, translation and grammar.
