Offered by the University of Konstanz the program “Master of Education in Spanish (Secondary Education)” is with a four-semester standard period of study. The master degree provides strong knowledge of communicative Spanish lessons along with competence and task orientation, basics of observing, planning, conducting Spanish classes and reflecting on the functionality of didactic and methodological bilingual teaching and learning. By building on the bachelor’s degree, the course explores lexics, pragmatics, text and discourse linguistics, central processes of the internal and the important phases of the external Spanish language history from Latin to the present day as well the principles of language change.
