The University of Lausanne, founded in 1890, is a public university seated in Lausanne, Switzerland. It is organized into seven faculties: the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, the Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of Biology and Medicine, the Faculty of Business and Economics, the Faculty of Law, Criminal Justice and Public Administration, the Faculty of Geosciences and Environment, as well as the Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies.
