The University of Luzern, founded in 2000, is a university sponsored by the Canton of Luzern. Accomodating currently round about 2,790 students, it is the smallest university throughout Switzerland. The University of Luzern breaks down into four faculties: the Faculty of Theology, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Faculty of Law, as well as the Faculty of Economics and Management. On offer are Bachelor, Master, and doctoral programs.
