The University of Mannheim, founded in 1907 under a different name, is a public university seated in Mannheim, Baden-Wuerttemberg. It prepares nearly 12,000 students for a successful professional career. The University accomodates five departments/schools: the Department of Law, the Department of Economics, the Business School, the School of Social Sciences, the School of Humanities, the School of Business Informatics and Mathematics. The University of Mannheim offers 33 Bachelor programs, 11 being teaching education programs, and 27 Master programs. The scope of Master studies includes seven English-language courses, namely “Mannheim Master in Business Research“, “Mannheim Master in Data Science“, “Master of Comparative Business Law“, “Political Science“, “Sociology“, “Economics“, and “Business Information Systems“. Complementary to this are full-time and part-time continuing educaton Master and MBA programs for executives and young professionals. Depending on the respective program, graduates of the University of Mannheim receive a B.A., B.Sc., B.Ed., LL.B., M.A., M.Sc., M.Ed., LL.M., MBA, and MCBL.
