The four-semester degree course “Master of Arts in Ancient Cultures of the Eastern Mediterranean” is offered by the University of Münster. Students have the opportunity to choose between two specializations: Languages and Texts, or Archaeology and Cultural History. The program is designed to teach participants the fundamentals of history and cultures of the eastern Mediterranean area. Participants will attend variety of lectures such as Languages of the Ancient Eastern Mediterranean Region, History of the Ancient Eastern Mediterranean, Texts and Sources, where will learn to deal with complex scientific problems. In addition to their theoretical knowledge, students will also participate in trainings and seminars, where will acquire solid practical experience. After completing their studies, graduates can work in libraries, museums, universities, archives, research institutions and more.
