The six-semester degree program “Bachelor of Education in Art” is offered by the University of Münster. It combines solid theoretical and practical knowledge. Students entering in the course become familiar with the educational sciences, and understand the training, learning and socialization processes. They have the possibility to explore variety of lectures, as well as to participate in an internship program and workshops, where can gain additional practical knowledge and experience. Some of the subjects they will attend includes Art Didactics, Art Pedagogy, Communication of Art, Art History, Aesthetics, Philosophy of Art. Upon successful completion, graduates are qualified to work as an art teacher at grammar schools and comprehensive schools.
