University of Münster is offering the study program “Master of Arts in Islamic Studies and Arabic Studies” with a duration of four semesters. By entering the course, students have the possibility to understand the pre-modern and modern societies of Islam culture. They are able to choose between four different areas to focus on: History & Society, Arabic Literature, Law, or Religion, as well as to learn two foreign languages. In addition, participants can take part in an internship program abroad to improve their language skills. Some of the subjects they will attend are Empirical Islamic Studies, Comparative Islamic Theology, History and Culture of the Islamic World. Graduates can find career at universities and other research institutions, NGOs, international offices, and much more.
