“Master of Arts in Islamic Theology” is a four-semester degree course provided by the University of Münster. This program is designed for those who would like to deepen the theoretical knowledge they have gained during their Bachelor’s studies. Participants have the opportunity to learn more about the Islamic religion and language, as well as to learn two foreign languages. Content of study includes theoretical lectures such as Empirical Islamic Studies, Comparative Islamic Theology, History and Culture of the Islamic World, Islamic Religious Education, Sociology and Psychology of Religion. Upon successful completion of “Islamic Theology” leads to professional career for example in Islamic pastoral care, association activities, research and teaching, and much more.
