The degree program “Bachelor of Science in Landscape Ecology” with a duration of six semesters is offered by the University of Münster. It is designed to provide students with basic theoretical knowledge of the analysis and assessment of ecosystems, as well as the development of the landscape and its functions. By entering the course, participants become familiar with variety of areas like Biology, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and Geology. They will also take part in trainings in laboratory and apply the theoretical knowledge they have gained in practice. At the end of their studies, participants are able to independently analyze the ecosystems and geodata. Graduates are prepared for career, for example in research institutions, universities and much more.
