The University of Music and Performing Art Graz, founded in 1963, is a public art school seated in Graz, Austria. It has another location in Oberschützen. More than 2,000 students currently receive an artistic and academic education there. The scope of studies covers the following thriteen fields of study: “Stage Design“, “Composition and Music Theory“, “Conducting“, “Performing Art (Drama)“, “Voice“, “Instrumental Studies“, “Music Education – Voice and Instruments“, “Jazz“, “Catholic and Protestant Church Music“, “Electrical Engineering and Audio Engineering“, “Music Education – Instruments“, “Musicology“, as well as a doctoral program.
