“Soloist Training” is a postgraduate study program offered at the University of Music and Performing Arts Mannheim. This course of studies is practice-oriented, with a duration of eight semesters in part-time. Students can choose between Opera singing, and Instrumental and Singing to specialize in. They will attend theoretical lectures including Piano Construction, Singing, Dramatic lessons,  and practical trainings. After successfully completing this program, graduates will receive a German Diploma, and will be qualified for professional career in the field of education.
