The course “Master of Arts in Acting” at the University of Music and Theatre "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" Leipzig has a duration of eight semesters. The program is two parts divided, with the first four semesters taking place on campus and the following semesters through the eighth-semester students work in the studios of some theaters. Students learn to apply the methodical fundamentals of acting and basic acting techniques. The syllabus contains Basic seminar, Scene study/monologue, Ensemble training, Theater Sports or Improvisation, Excursion, Speaking and others. Graduates could pursue a career as actors for theater, film, television and more career possibilities.
