The “Master of Music in Church Music (Protestant/Catholic)” program at the University of Music and Theatre "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" Leipzig runs for eight semesters. The course focuses on the organic instrumental and cantoral conducting areas. Furthermore, the training provides a cathedral cantor, church services, concerts and guided tours. The curriculum includes some of the following subjects Organ Literature, Liturgy. Organ, Choral Conducting, Piano, Choir, Voice, Music History, Study of Musical forms and others. Graduates of the speciality work predominantly in chantries or as organists in church services.
