The eight-semester program “Bachelor of Music in Classical Singing - Music Theater” at the University of Music and Theatre "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" Leipzig teaches students to develop basic knowledge in the areas of stylistically sound interpretation and presentation. The course provides various subjects such as acting, movement lessons or stage dance, stage speaking, Italian, accompaniment and others that create versatility in students. Students learn to cope with body movements, breath, voice, and articulation. The curriculum includes Classical Voice, Acting and speaking on stage, Chamber Choir, Choir, Language Course Italian, Medicine for Musicians, Ear training and more subjects. Graduates can start a job as a singer, voice teacher, teacher and multiple other career opportunities.
