The “Master of Music in Conducting - consecutive” program at the University of Music and Theatre "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" Leipzig has a duration of four semesters. The program is a continuation of the Bachelor’s degree, and students acquire deep and extensive knowledge in conducting. Students learn all the intricacies of leading and develop extensive concert literature and opera repertoire. The curriculum includes the subjects Conducting, Chamber music and Vocal accompaniment. After completing this speciality, graduates can work as orchestra conductors or become bandmasters.
