The “Master of Music in Early Music- consecutive widening” course at the University of Music and Theatre "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" Leipzig runs over four semesters. The curriculum consists of some of the major subjects such as baroque violin, baroque viola, baroque cello, historical instruments oboe, transverse flute, historical singing and more. In addition, the program offers a range of elective modules from which students can choose to deepen their interests. Students further develop their theoretical and practical skills and form a very high artistic profile. Graduates in this sequential master's program specialize in historical performance practice in all available professional areas.
