The course “Master of Education in Jazz/Popular Music” at the University of Music and Theatre "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" Leipzig lasts for four semesters. The training is a continuation of the Bachelor’s degree. The purpose of the program is to prepare students for highly professional teaching in secondary schools in Saxony. Students further develop their interpretive, creative and pedagogical skills. Thus, graduates acquire a high level of education and can start work as instrumental, vocal or ensemble teacher.
