The “Bachelor of Music in Piano” program at the University of Music and Theatre "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" Leipzig has a continuation of eight semesters. The training focuses on teaching the basics of pianism and art. Students acquire basic piano playing skills, have musical context awareness and can work independently on pieces. The course contains the subjects Methodology piano, Teacher´s training exercise, Voice, Ear training, Contemporary music, and more. Graduates could pursue a career as soloist, pianist, teacher, chamber musician and others.
