The degree program “Bachelor of Music in Jazz” is with a duration of eight semesters, and provided by the University of Music Würzburg. The course is practice-oriented. Participants will learn more about different styles of jazz. By taking part in theoretical lectures and practical trainings such as Artistic Core Subject, Teaching Learning, Music Practice, and Professionalization, they will deepen their knowledge of different compositional techniques. In addition, students will also strengthen their improvisational skills. Successfully completing this program prepares graduates for career in pedagogical field, or as an independent artist.
