University of Music Würzburg offers the state examination course “Music Teaching at Elementary Schools’’. The duration of the course is seven semesters and its main objective is to promote artistic, scientific and educational experiences. Thus, students will be able to create for themselves a stable basis for their future career development in different fields of work. Furthermore, throughout their studies, participants will receive comprehensive knowledge in music pedagogy. The degree content comprises of modules like Singing, Arrangement, Musicology, Media Education, Choir Direction, etc. In addition to the theoretical training, students will also participate in internships carried at schools.
