The University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna, founded in 1872, is a public university seated in Vienna that specializes in Renewable Resources. The scope of English-held studies includes the programs “Biotechnology“, “Mountain Forestry“, “Water Management and Environmental Engineering“, “Applied Limnology“, as well as “Organic Agricultural Systems and Agroecology“. Among the international programs are “Natural Resources Management and Ecological Engineering“, “Limnology & Wetland Management“, “Environmental Sciences – Soil, Water and Biodiversity“, “Animal Breeding and Genetics“, “Safety in the Food Chain“, “European Forestry“, “Horticultural Sciences“, “Material and Energetic Exploitation of Renewable Raw Materials“, “Viticulture, Enology and Wine Business“, “Organic Agricultural Systems and Agroecology“, as well as “Agriculture, Food Production and Food Technology in the Danube Region“. The educational offer is rounded off by continuing education university courses, short courses, and seminars.
