Description
The “Bachelor of Arts in Art and Art Education” is a 6-semester program taught in German. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses with a focus on Art-Scientific Methods, Art and Media Theory, Art Philosophy, Art Didactics, Art and Culture Mediation, and much more. The BA allows students to choose a second subject i.e. German Language Literatures, History, Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies, Management, Musicology, Philosophy, etc. Additionally, participants can choose from a plethora of elective modules and diversify their studies. The BA is application-oriented and aims to teach them how to implement their knowledge into practice. Through various case studies and seminars, students will acquire hands-on experience and industry-specific skills needed for a successful career. The program prepares graduates to assume positions in Art and Cultural Institutions, Press and Public Relations, Culture and Project Management, Extracurricular Education, and more. It is also an excellent foundation for a later Master’s degree.
