Description


The “Bachelor of Education in Art (Teaching at Vocational Schools)” is a 6-semester program conducted in German. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses in Educational Sciences, Subject Didactics and Methodology in Art and a second subject, and German for immigrant students. Additionally, participants can diversify their studies by undertaking elective modules. The BEd is application-oriented and aims to teach them how to implement their knowledge into practice. Through various case studies and group projects, students will acquire hands-on experience and key competencies. Furthermore, the program promotes the development of soft skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, communication and organisation, and more. Graduates are qualified to pursue teaching positions at vocational schools or to further their education with a Master’s degree.
