The “Bachelor of Education in Art (Teaching at Primary Schools)” is a German-taught program with a duration of 6 semesters. Throughout their education, students will focus on Vocational Pedagogy, Science and Subject Didactics in Art and a second subject, and German for immigrant students. Also, participants can personalise their studies by taking up elective modules. Throughout the course of their education, students will receive sound theoretical and practical training. The BEd provides them with various study cases and group projects, so they can acquire hands-on experience and industry-specific skills. The program also promotes the development of soft skills needed for day-to-day operations. It prepares graduates to assume teaching positions at elementary schools or to pursue a later Master’s degree.
