The teacher training program “Master of Education in Art (Teaching at Primary Schools)“ is a German-taught program with a duration of 4 semesters. It is a continuation of the corresponding Bachelor’s degree offered at the University of Paderborn. The curriculum consists of multifaceted courses in Educational Sciences, Subject Didactics and Methodology in Art and a further subject, as well as German for immigrant students. The MEd offers participants a plethora of elective modules to choose from and diversify their studies. Throughout their education, they’ll acquire hands-on experience, key competencies, and soft skills required for the dynamic working environment of the profession. The MEd also offers participants the opportunity to study a semester abroad and expand their abilities. Upon completion of the program, graduates are prepared to handle complex situations and assume teaching positions in Art at primary schools.
