The teacher training program “Master of Education in Art (Teacher Training for Special Education)“ is a 4-semester program conducted in German. It is a continuation of the corresponding Bachelor’s degree offered at the University of Paderborn. The focal point of the course is to deepen the knowledge of students, provide them with extensive practice work, and teach them a holistic approach to complex situations. The MEd is application-oriented and provides participants with practical relevance and key competencies. It also gives them the opportunity to study abroad and develop soft skills such as teamwork, decision making, moderation, leadership, etc. The MEd prepares graduates to become teachers in Art at special education institutions.
