The teacher training program “Bachelor of Education in Catholic Religious Education (Teaching at Primary Schools)“ is a 6-semester program conducted in German. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses in Specialized Science and Subject Didactics in Catholic Religion Studies, as well as Language/Mathematics Education, Vocational Pedagogy, and German for immigrant students. Additionally, participants can tailor their studies to their interests by taking up elective modules. Throughout their education, they’ll receive in-depth theoretical and practical training. They’ll also acquire hands-on experience, key competencies, and soft skills needed for a successful career. The BEd qualifies graduates to pursue teaching positions at primary schools or further their education with a consecutive Master’s degree.
