The “Master of Education in Catholic Religious Education (Teaching at Primary Schools)” is a 4-semester program taught in German. It is suitable for applicants with a relevant Bachelor’s degree who wish to further their education. Students will focus on advanced courses in Educational Science, Subject Didactics in Catholic Religion Studies, Language/Mathematics Education, and German for immigrant students. Additionally, participants can personalise their education by undertaking elective modules. The MEd is application-oriented and aims to teach students how to implement their knowledge into practice. It provides them with various case studies and seminars to prepare them for day-to-day operations. The MEd qualifies graduates to become teachers in Catholic Religion at primary schools.
