The teacher training program “Bachelor of Education in Catholic Religious Education (Teaching at Grammar Schools and Comprehensive Schools)“ is a 6-semester program conducted in German. The curriculum consists of multifaceted courses in Science and Didactics in Catholic Religious Studies and a further subject, Educational Sciences, and German for immigrant students. Additionally, participants can diversify their studies by undertaking elective modules. Throughout their education, they’ll receive in-depth theoretical and practical training. Students will acquire hands-on experience and key competencies needed for day-to-day operations. The BEd also offers them the opportunity to carry out semesters abroad and expand their horizons. The program prepares graduates for teaching positions at high schools and comprehensive schools. It is also a prerequisite for a Master’s degree.
