Description
The “Master of Education in Catholic Religious Education (Teacher Training for Special Education)” is a German-taught program with a duration of 4 semesters. It is a continuation of the corresponding Bachelor’s degree offered at the University of Paderborn. The aim is to deepen the knowledge of students and introduce them to more complex matters. The curriculum consists of advanced modules in Science and Didactics in Catholic Religious Studies and a further subject, Vocational Pedagogy, Emotional and Social Development, Learning, as well as German for immigrant students. The MEd is application-oriented and aims to teach participants how to turn theory into practice. Through various case studies and seminars, they’ll acquire hands-on experience and key competencies. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to assume teaching positions at special education institutions.
