The “Master of Science in Chemistry” is a 4-semester program conducted in German. It is a continuation of the corresponding Bachelor’s degree offered at the University of Paderborn. The program aims to deepen the knowledge of students and introduce them to more complex matters. It offers participants the opportunity to specialise in Chemistry and gain extensive theoretical and practical knowledge in all of its sub-areas. The MSc is research-oriented and provides students with the methodological, analytical, and technical skills needed to carry out scientific work independently. Furthermore, it promotes the development of soft skills such as problem-solving, teamwork, leadership, communication and organisation, etc. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to assume managerial positions in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, mineral oil industry, automotive and food industries, plastics processing industry, environmental protection, healthcare, and more.
