Description


The “Bachelor of Education in Chemistry (Teaching at Vocational Schools)” is a 6-semester program conducted in German. The curriculum includes interdisciplinary courses with a focus on subject science and didactics in chemistry and a secondary subject, Educational Sciences, and German for immigrant students. Additionally, participants can personalise their education by undertaking elective modules. Throughout their education, students will receive in-depth theoretical and practical training. The BEd is application-oriented and provides participants with hands-on experience and professional core competencies. It also offers them the opportunity to study abroad and broaden their perspectives. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to assume teaching positions at vocational schools or in extracurricular areas. They can also pursue a consecutive Master’s degree.
