Description


The “Master of Education in Chemistry (Teaching at Vocational Schools)” is a 4-semester program conducted in German. It is a continuation of the corresponding Bachelor’s degree offered at the University of Paderborn. The course aims to further the knowledge of students and introduce them to more complex matters. The curriculum consists of multifaceted courses in Chemistry and its sub-areas, Subject Didactics and Methodology, Educational Sciences, and German for immigrant students. Additionally, participants can choose from a plethora of elective modules and diversify their studies. Through various case studies and application-oriented seminars, students will acquire key competencies and practical relevance. The MSc prepares graduates for the challenging working environment of the profession and qualifies them to assume teaching positions at vocational schools or in extracurricular areas.
