The “Bachelor of Education in Chemistry (Teaching at Lower Secondary, Secondary Modern, Secondary and Comprehensive Schools)” is a German-taught program with a duration of 6 semesters. Throughout their studies, participants will focus on Chemistry and all of its sub-areas, Educational Sciences, Subject Didactics and Methodology, as well as German for immigrant students. The BEd provides them with various case studies and application-oriented seminars that aim to prepare them for the real life working environment. Participants will acquire hands-on experience, key competencies, and soft skills needed for a successful career. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to assume teaching positions in Chemistry. They can also opt for a consecutive Master’s degree and further their competencies.
