The “Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies” is a 6-semester program taught in German. The curriculum includes interdisciplinary courses in Literary and Cultural Studies, European Literary History, Foreign-language Literatures, InterArt Studies, Gender Studies, etc. Additionally, participants can personalise their studies by taking up elective modules. The BA is application-oriented and provides students with practical relevance and industry-specific skills. It aims to teach them how to implement their knowledge into practice and prepare them for the dynamic environment of the field. Furthermore, it provides participants with the opportunity to carry out semesters abroad and expand their knowledge and abilities. The BA prepares graduates for work in Cultural Management, Cultural Mediation, Media, Cultural Institutions, Publishing and Journalism, and Advertising and Marketing. Graduates can also opt for a subsequent Master’s degree.
