The “Master of Arts in Educational Science” is a 4-semester program taught in German. It is a continuation of the corresponding Bachelor’s degree offered at the University of Paderborn. The program aims to solidify the knowledge of students and provide them with extensive practice work. Throughout their studies, participants will go through advanced modules and further their qualifications. The subject of Educational Science can be combined with two other i.e. German-language Literatures, Digital Humanities, English Linguistics, History, Gender Studies, Musicology, Management, Philosophy, etc. The MA is research-oriented and provides students with the social, methodological, and analytical skills needed to carry out scientific work independently. Furthermore, the program gives them the opportunity to study a semester abroad and acquire hands-on experience and key competencies. The MA prepares graduates for leadership positions in Research, Project and Event Management, Archive and Documentation, Publishing and Editing, Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising, Social Media, etc.
