Description
The “Bachelor of Education in Emotional and Social Development (Teacher Training for Special Education)” is a German-taught program with a duration of 6 semesters. Throughout their education, students will gain a fundamental understanding of Subject Science and Didactics in Emotional and Social Development and a further subject, Learning and Teaching, Language, Vocational Pedagogy, etc. Participants can also personalise their studies by undertaking elective modules. The BEd is application-oriented and aims to teach students how to implement their vast knowledge into practice and deal with challenging situations. Through group projects and seminars, they’ll gain professional core competencies and practical relevance. The program also promotes the development of soft skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, moderation, communication and organisation. The BEd qualifies graduates to assume teaching positions at special education institutions and for a consecutive Master’s degree.
