The “Bachelor of Arts in English Linguistics” is a 6-semester program taught in German. Throughout their education, students will focus on Basic Linguistics, Description Levels, Cognitive Linguistics and Language Acquisition, Synchronous and diachronic manifestations of English, and more. Additionally, participants can diversify their studies by taking up elective modules. The BA is application-oriented and provides students with hands-on experience and professional core competencies. The program also offers them the opportunity to study a semester abroad and further their qualifications. The BA prepares graduates to assume positions in extracurricular education, NGOs, Publishing and Journalism, Advertising and Marketing, Culture and Project Management, etc. They can also opt for a consecutive Master’s degree.
