The teacher training program “English (Teaching at Primary Schools)“ is a German-taught program with a duration of 6 semesters. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses in specialized science and subject didactics in language and mathematical education, Educational Sciences, and German for immigrant students. Additionally, students can personalise their education by undertaking elective modules. Throughout their studies, participants will receive in-depth theoretical and practical training. They’ll acquire professional core competencies and practical relevance. The BEd teaches them to deal with complex tasks and prepares them for the real-life working environment. Graduates are qualified to assume teaching positions in English at Primary Schools. They can also opt for a consecutive Master’s degree.
