The teacher training course “Master of Education in English (Teaching at Primary Schools)“ is a 4-semester and taught in German. It is a continuation of the corresponding Bachelor’s degree offered at the University of Paderborn. It aims to solidify the knowledge of students and introduce them to more complex matters. Throughout their studies, participants will acquire extensive knowledge in Language and Mathematics Education, Subject Didactics and Methodology, Educational Sciences, as well as German for immigrant students. Through various case studies and application-oriented seminars, they’ll gain hands-on experience and key competencies. The MEd also offers participants the opportunity to take up a semester abroad and further their qualifications and improve their intercultural communication. The program prepares graduates to become English teachers in primary schools.
