The teacher training program “Bachelor of Education in English (Teaching at Grammar Schools and Comprehensive Schools“ is a 6-semester program conducted in German. Throughout their education, students will focus on the English language and a second subject, Educational Sciences, Subject Didactics, and German for immigrant students. Additionally, participants can diversify their education by undertaking elective modules. The BEd is application-oriented and provides them with hands-on experience and key competencies. Furthermore, students will have the opportunity to study abroad for at least three months and further their qualifications. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to become teachers in English at grammar schools or comprehensive schools. They can also pursue a subsequent Master’s degree.
